The Streets

The Streets is the Birmingham group built around Mike Skinner’s sharply observed writing, where UK hip-hop and grime meet everyday detail, wit and unease. Formed in 1994, they broke through with Original Pirate Material, then turned loose storytelling into something even more ambitious on A Grand Don’t Come for Free.
