Tori Amos is an American singer-songwriter and pianist born in Newton, North Carolina in 1963. Her early run of records, including Little Earthquakes, Under The Pink and Scarlet's Walk, established a distinctive voice: intimate, literate songs led by piano, with a reach that stretches from alternative rock to baroque pop.
