Baltimore indie folk rock duo, Wye Oak, takes their name from the honorary state tree of Maryland. Originally formed as "Monarch" in mid-2006, the band consists of Andy Stack on drums, keyboards, and backup vocals, and Jenn Wasner on vocals and guitars.
