8AM EP

XL Recordings label head and producer Richard Russell released his 12-track debut full-length project Everything Is Recorded in early 2018 featuring a revolving cast of guest collaborators such as Sampha, Kamasi Washington, and many more. After a run of live shows in London supporting the album, Russell decided to get back into the studio. This time, he brought in new and returning guests like Sampha, Ibeyi, Scritti Politti’s Green Gartside, Mela Murder, Obongjayar, and more for a new EP called 8AM. Featuring a B-side etched with a mandala designed by Everything Is Recorded collaborator Hardy Maharishi.
