Go for it. Don't think about yesterday, and as little as possible about tomorrow. This is the state of mind that guided the production of adrénaline, Hervé's third album. A collection of songs composed on instinct and recorded in a small team in Brixham, on the south coast of England, after the tour for his second album, Intérieur Vie, had just come to an end. A sort of return to his roots for Hervé, who, like a true number 10, has surrounded himself with his family, close friends and the team that has accompanied him for the past five years, to remobilize a form of collective energy and put the music back at the centre of the game. Crowned “Male Revelation” at the Victoires de la Musique awards in 2021 for Hyper, his inaugural album on which he organized an unprecedented encounter between the rock impressionism of a Bashung and the dancefloor, Hervé has chosen to return to England. A country criss-crossed from coast to coast, first in his teens by the FM waves of rock radio stations feeding their playlists with the hits of the Britpop years, then in the back seat of a Ford Fiesta with his band Postaal, booked all over the kingdom in the mid-2010s.alt
