The title comes from Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, where the albatross shifts from a sign of good fortune to a burden worn around the neck. It is a sharp, fitting image for a record focused on wanting, and the strange weight of getting exactly what you asked for.
