Exquisite symphonic progressive rock with an air of British psychedelic sensibility, at times some tracks take on an epic feel with astonishing dynamics. Includes an unissued acetate track replacing the barbershop quartet who were tagged incongruously on the end of the original LP being at the same university. (Those tracks and a BBC interview are on the CD edition). This gives the LP a cohesion and uniformity of sound that it’s always needed , the original artwork is reproduced in full and extended into a gatefold, with a great inner band photo evoking RCA Neon/Keef.
