Re-release of the stunning debut album originally released on Deltasonic. The Sand Band are songwriter / producer David Mcdonnell and long time musical partner Scott Marmion. With an acoustic country, folk and gospel sound not unlike the Coral or Richard Hawley at his most velvetly emotive, its 10 beautifully textured, melodic songs were all recorded in a home studio. The Sand Band are about truth and melody. Their dark love songs will break and mend your heart. Achingly beautiful and completely individual awash with psychedelic atmospherics.
