Ancient Future

Ancient Future sits within an ongoing quest of sample creation, manipulation, recombination and morphological transformation through the modular synthesizer. It feels like a record built from process as much as sound, where every texture is shaped, stretched and reimagined into something vivid and physical.

Across the album, densely interconnected sound matter moves between brief islands of respite in a sea of incomprehensibility, always grasping but not quite arriving. That tension gives the record its pull, balancing darkness and clarity with a real sense of motion.

The ancient future is imagined here as a place: the meeting point between light and the fragmented state of our present reality. This album is an attempt to materialise that place in sonic form, and it does so with focus, depth and atmosphere.
