German black/death cult Ch’ahom return with their second album, Anthropic Rites of Sublimation, a concept record set in a fictional world shaped by the rituals, art and architecture of pre-Hispanic cultures. Picking up where the Ts’ono’ot EP left off, it centres on a vast cenote whose cosmic call leads the lost and uncertain toward self-sacrifice.

Along its edge, four civilizations emerge, each building its own rites, hierarchies and monuments to turn that fatal summons into the basis of collective life. Ch’ahom give this world real weight through cavernous death metal, bestial eruptions and fiercely progressive structures.
