Based in Brest in France, musically influenced by the classic cold wave which originated in their country, Gwendoline is shaped to their own image. They embody pure DIY ethics, with quick recordings at their home studio. Their debut album from 2020, Apres c'est gobelet!, features dark lyrics, self-mockery, criticism, and sarcasm derived from the world's mediocrity.
Their music is melodic yet dark, ironic yet direct, and sophisticated yet absolutely minimalistic. It serves as a testimony of today's world viewed through their unique perspective.
