Atlanta's Burning Down

Atlanta’s Burning Down is the third studio album by Dickey Betts, better known as a band member of The Allman Brothers Band. It was recorded together with his band Great Southern and was originally released in 1978.

The album contains a mix of southern rock with influences from rock and country. It features the songs Good Time Feeling and Atlanta’s Burning Down. The title track is a poignant narrative about a soldier’s wife experiencing the burning of Atlanta during the Civil War while her husband fights in Virginia.
