Azizi In Space

Sadeedo was born and raised in London, with Arab and Bosnian roots, and now lives in Ibiza. He spends summers DJing across the island, then winters building tracks from MPC beats with a close crew of musicians and friends.

Azizi In Space brings those worlds together. It gathers the music that has shaped Sadeedo over the years: soulful, sunny, cosmic, psychedelic, hypnotic, groovy and funky sounds from across the globe, reflecting both his background and his cosmopolitan island life.

Azizi means “my friend” in Arabic. Sadeedo calls the album “a musical postcard from earth for a friend in space I haven't met yet”, inspired by NASA’s golden record. In the opening track, the first voice heard is the Arabic greeting from that record: “greetings to our friends in the stars”.
