Elephant's first two LPs in a double vinyl package. For every decade, a band of Harrison-adepts, shy boys, tall and somewhat clumsy, stubbornly democratic, shaking one irresistible guitar melody after another out of their wrinkled band shirt sleeves. Following in the footsteps of The Feelies, Teenage Fanclub, and Real Estate, this could just be Elephant for the 2020s. Sunny melancholy in major. That's the sound of the 4-piece Rotterdam indie band Elephant. The band was born in a year in which a virus knocked out the music world. Against their better judgment, but with full devotion, Elephant throws themselves into the writing of their songs. Elephant convinces with their unique approach, sound and songs and they are signed to the record label Excelsior Recordings. Early in 2022 Elephant impressed with their session at EurosonicNoorderslag and not much later their debut album 'Big Thing' was released, recorded in collaboration with Pablo van de Poel (DeWolff).
