Bobby Gillespie has put together a fantastic new compilation for Ace Records, 'Bobby Gillespie Presents Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down'. The tracklisting is a great mellow mix of old tunes, named after the Kris Kristofferson song, however it also perfectly fits the description of a Sunday morning come-down album. It features 13th Floor Elevators, Beach Boys, Byrds, Dion, Alexander 'Skip' Spence, Link Wray, Gram Parsons, Primal Scream, Kris Kristofferson and much much more. The sleeve notes feature Bobby's explanation of what the songs mean to him and how they influenced his band's records. The cover image is an iconic image of him from the Corinne Day archive. The LP contains one bonus track - 'Cheree (remix)' by Suicide.
