Singer songwriter Melanie's first four albums for Buddah Records, dating from 1968, 1969, and 1970.

She first enjoyed European success with a French No.1, "Bobo's Party", and a Dutch hit, "Beautiful People". It was her Woodstock-inspired worldwide hit "Lay Down (Candles In The Rain)" that broke her to a huge audience.

Both "Candles In The Rain" and "Leftover Wine" enjoyed major chart success all over the globe.
