Moon Inhabitants are one of the most exciting new additions to the flourishing Norwegian jazz scene. This quintet brings a playful, spontaneous approach to composed material, guided by a simple philosophy: anything can happen.

Inspired by 60s free jazz but very much rooted in the present, the music twists, turns and keeps you guessing throughout this debut on Sauajazz. It’s full of unpredictable cosmic improvisations, grounded by an earthy sense of naivety and directness.

The result is an energetic, open-hearted set from a group made up of some of the younger generation’s most innovative musicians.
