The Black Keys, a duo from Akron, Ohio, have released an EP featuring six songs by Junior Kimbrough. This is not just a casual project; the late blues musician from Mississippi had a significant impact on guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney.

Their previous albums, filled with gritty rhythms and heartfelt dynamics, would have resonated deeply with Kimbrough, who unfortunately passed away before they could cross paths. One standout track is "Meet Me In The City," where the emotive vocals blend beautifully with the guitar's vibrato.
