Closing Night

Closing Night is the debut solo album from artist and producer Sean Rogan, tracing a period of personal change during the breakdown of a relationship. Written over two years and recorded primarily in a bedroom in Greenwich, London, the self-produced album brings together musician friends and collaborators to examine endings, beginnings and the process of letting go.

Improvisation, cassette recording and intact performances shape its sound. Influenced by techniques learned from producer Philip Weinrobe, the sessions embraced spontaneity and collaboration. Many tracks were recorded live, allowing conversations, room sounds and the traffic outside to become part of the music.
