This superb 9CD set collects all 9 original albums that Nina Simone cut for RCA. All come in mini-LP replica sleeves, including bonus tracks, original artwork and a comprehensive 34 page booklet.

The 35 bonus tracks include additional songs or session material from each time period on each of the 9 CDs. The booklet gives details on all the sessions and sources. The set is also remastered.

In 1958, Simone recorded her first studio album for Bethlehem Records, followed by Colpix, then Philips and in 1967 she signed to RCA Victor. Music critics might debate which period of Nina Simone's recordings were the best, but the RCA period is certainly essential Nina.

This box set contains signature songs like I Loves You, Porgy, I Want a Little Sugar in My Bowl (in a couple of versions), and Mississippi Goddam (a Simone original), along with powerful versions of songs by Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Willie Dixon, the Beatles, and Randy Newman, among others
