A career-spanning 5xCD box set from Play Dead, covering 1980 to 1985 across 79 tracks. Presented in a clamshell box, it includes a 36-page booklet with notes by Adi Vine and unseen photos.

The five albums gathered here are The First Flower, From the Promised Land, John Peel Sessions, Into the Fire and Company of Justice, all expanded with extra singles, remixes and related tracks.

Across these years, Play Dead became one of the UK’s standout post-punk bands, building indie chart success and a devoted live following through three John Peel sessions, relentless touring, and shows with UK Decay, Sex Gang Children, Killing Joke and The Cult.

They also headlined UK and European tours and appeared live on The Tube. Their three studio albums, plus the live set Into the Fire, extended and remixed, are joined here by remastered singles, obscurities and more, including Company of Justice, produced by Conny Plank.
