The second album of True Norwegian Black Metal from Mork, including guest appearance from Darkthrone's Nocturno Culto, & four bonus tracks.
Mork was created by Thomas Eriksen in 2004 and was primarily a side-project from inception until the debut album in 2013. Since then, the band has rightly earned their accolade as one of the top Norwegian black metal acts of recent years, receiving strong endorsements from their peers. This was cemented with the release of the third album 'Eremitens Dal' on Peaceville in 2017, featuring guests from Dimmu Borgir and 1349.
'Den Vandrende Skygge' was Mork's follow-up to debut album 'Isebakke', and helped further establish the band as one of the leading upcoming Norwegian Black Metal acts. The album has a more refined depth to composition, yet still brings to mind the atmosphere of the notorious "second wave" of bands from the early 90's, such as Darkthrone and Burzum. The album also features a guest appearance from Darkthrone's own Nocturno Culto.
This CD edition of 'Den Vandrende Skygge' features four bonus tracks including an unused track from the album recording sessions, plus rare songs featured on Mork's 2015 split releases. The booklet also now features lyrics.
"The album charmed not only us old-timers but also newer generations. THE PAST IS ONCE AGAIN ALIVE" - Fenriz, Darkthrone
