Die Tödin

Die Tödin emerges from Gelsenkirchen with a darkwave sound shaped by goth, dark electro, post-punk, and black metal. Built on stark rhythms, cold synths, magnetic hooks, and a voice caught between distance and confession, these songs hit hard while holding onto a deep sense of sorrow and melancholia.

First released as a run of solitary singles, sold out and much sought after, this music grew outside trend and nostalgia. Sung in English and German, it pushes depression, doom, and the absurdity of modern life to their emotional limits with striking directness and real elegance.
