The second release from the legendary Celluloid label since its rebirth after 35 years of silence, Honk Gong is a brand-new trip-hop / no wave duo built around the wild, dreamlike sampling of Paul Ramon(Pleasure Principle, Bryan’s Magic Tears) and the contagiously laid-back flow of the San Francisco’s MC & Producer, Robin Jiro Margerin (Salopecia, There’s Ifs, Marginal Tow). Conceived as the diary of a chemical wreck, Dissociate drifts somewhere between the intelligence of an A Tribe Called Quest track and a YouTube collage. Recorded by Paul Rannaud (Fat White Family, Insecure Men) and mixed by Maxime Maurel (Departure Kids, Ventre de Biche), this debut track kicks off a series of concerts and showcases ahead of the release of a first album, “Eau de Low”, due in spring 2026. “Dissociate” is released in partnership with agnès b.
