Don’t Forget Your Roots: The Commemorative Vinyl 20 Years From 660 Castle Street

To mark the anniversary of Matiu Walters (lead singer), Ji Fraser (lead guitar) and Hoani Matenga ( former bassist, Maori All Black) moving into 660 Castle Street, SIX60 are releasing two versions of their anthem that have never been on vinyl. This is a one-off die-cut record cut in the shape of Aotearoa (New Zealand) - a first for the market.

SIX60 have worked with Māori artist Haser to create a unique art piece that celebrates the roots of every region of Aotearoa. Side A - Don’t Forget Your Roots: The Original Demo Recorded at 660 Castle St., Dunedin - the first time fans will hear the demo that launched a national treasure. Side B - Don’t Forget Your Roots / Kia Mau Ki Tō Ūkaipō (Live) One NZ Stadium, Christchurch - captured at the stadium’s opening concert, including a performance of Ka Mate by Te Ahikaaroa.
