the vinyl format is limited to 500 copies and includes an artwork print and a cd copy of the album. loch lomond hail from portland, oregon and this is their second album for chemical underground. fans of 'little me will start a storm' will already be familiar with the band's flair for harmony and a dark, melancholic melodicism; with 'dresses' the tone is darker still, more ambitious in its scope and represents a significant new level for the band. the songs on offer here share a gentle fragility, and a sense of melancholy. for fans of the decemberists, the mountain goats and grandaddy.
