Elandill

A lovely, unusual piece of British, pastoral, progressive, chamber rock. Five elegant, melodic well-structured and always engaging songs with deeply trippy lyrics, spiced up by episodes of west coast-inspired lead guitar and flute jamming.

Clearly dating from the classic “turnover” year of 1970/1 this album would have fitted perfectly on “pink scroll” era charisma records.

We hear echoes of very early Yes, Trespass-era Genesis, Audience, Jethro Tull and family but really it is its own self. Carefully restored from the only known acetate by Reynolds Mastering.
