Everything Changes

will left his rochdale home 10 years ago, and stopping only to pick up a blues harp, set sights for hong kong, following his anglo-chinese roots. this turned out to be more than the adventure he bargained for. his blues harmonica sound was so unusual that he soon found himself in thick of the local jazz and blues scene, working as a session musician alongside international touring artists, hong kong chart-toppers and film stars like jackie chan, tommy emmanual and simon le bon. after a series of solo albums, will decided it was time to make the long journey home, bringing with him a wealth of new influences. will's new take on the blues led him to collaborate with renowned dance music producer, andy votel, for his debut single, 'love bites'. but it's his diverse roots influences that really set 'everything changes' apart from his hong kong releases. with this album, will shows he's equally at home with both roots and modern styles and despite this eclecticism he still paints a cohesive picture with ease. as he says himself, "it's a reflection on my journey so far, with a mix of musical influences from blues masters such as muddy waters, through greats like hendrix, dylan and zeppelin, to the more contemporary white stripes, ray lamontagne and jack johnson to name just a few."
