Eye C (Josh Wink Remix)

Josh Wink steps in to remix Chris Liebing's Eye C for CLR, reworking one of the key cuts from Evolver, Liebing's first fully solo-produced LP, released in March. The album also features collaborations with Luke Slater, Charlotte de Witte, and Daniel Miller.

A true Philadelphia electronic music veteran, Wink has shaped countless releases on Ovum and remixed artists including Depeche Mode, Moby, and Radiohead. Here, he pushes Eye C into fiercer territory with fizzing synth modulations, prickly acid lines, rumbling drums, and a deep atmospheric pull.

The original mix remains a deep, rolling techno masterclass, driven by pulsing synths, deft percussion, and unsettling vocal fragments. Linear, hypnotic, and made for late-night listening, it slowly tightens the screws as the groove hardens and the tension keeps building.
