Formed in 1988 in Riverside, California, Voodoo Glow Skulls came together through brothers Frank Casillas, Eddie Casillas, and Jorge Casillas, alongside longtime friend Jerry O'Neill. They cut their teeth at backyard parties before stepping onto bills with Angry Samoans, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Firehose, Murphy's Law, and The Dickies.

Firme from 1995 stands as one of the band’s big moments, capturing the seven-piece at full force. Their take on ska punk leans hard into speed and punch, with chugging rhythms, triumphant horn breakdowns, and shouted group vocals driving things forward.

The set also features Fat Randy, one of Voodoo Glow Skulls’ most convincing ska-punk hybrids.
