Flottiana – The Art-Song Legacy of Dame Felicity Lott

Flottiana celebrates the art-song legacy of Dame Felicity Lott. This 10-CD box set, compiled by Graham Johnson, her accompanist and collaborator of five decades, offers an overview of her recital career.

The collection brings together albums devoted to Schubert, Schumann, Wolf and Richard Strauss, alongside three programmes of French mélodies, a collection of English song, early recordings with The Songmakers’ Almanac, and a live recital from Wigmore Hall.

Collaborators include Peter Schreier, Ann Murray, Anthony Rolfe Johnson, Stephen Varcoe and Susan Bickley. Curated as a memorial anthology, the set includes new essays by Graham Johnson, complete sung texts with English translations, and individual booklets and card wallets in a clamshell box.
