Forgetting the Present

Initially a solo project for Graeme Ronald, Remember Remember have since grown into a multi-limbed ensemble. Nominated for the SAY Award, the band are now release their third album. Crafted over winter, 'Forgetting The Present' seemingly finds Remember Remember entering new ground. The results are an interesting mixture of a very grand 'proper studio' recording, and a lo-fi bedroom electronica project. In terms of influences, there was a shift from the pastoral, melancholic and kraut / psychedelic touchstones that they're perhaps known for towards allowing influence from early electronics. 'Forgetting The Present' was recorded in December last year at Castle Of Doom Studios in Glasgow, produced by Tony Doogan (Mogwai, Belle and Sebastian, Teenage Fanclub) and mastered at Abbey Road Studios.CD - Digipack.
