Future Nostalgia

To mark PUNK50 (1976-2026), Mal-One has pulled his Future Nostalgia track for a 12" release, to remind us that there is nothing wrong with nostalgia and looking back at events that have shaped our lives. Our collective futures are built on the actions of our pasts.

As the lyric points out in the song: “Future Nostalgia we carry all our pasts”.

To enhance this release, he has added an exclusive dub mix, Future Dub. The flip side takes two tracks from his forthcoming dub album Punk Dub Sessions: Dub King, a version of his God Save The King track, an update to the Sex Pistols’ God Save The Queen, and Holiday Dub, a version of his Holiday In Someone Else’s Misery track, which tells the story of the Sex Pistols’ Holiday In The Sun release.
