Gambia Nice

New album from Nuimi Dredd on the same label as the wonderful Misma. Tijan Jallow aka Nuimi Dredd was born August 1992 in Nuimi. Like most Gambians he is of mixed heritage,father Fulani and mother Mandinka. He was raised by his maternal grandparents-kuyatehs from the jali family. Grandfather Amadou Kuyateh is a Kora player who narrate's the history of the Nyanchos through his music. In 2010 Nuimi Dredd started his foray into music and in 2019 was signed to Jokadu Records. Daddyafrica soon changed his name from TBoy to The Mighty Nuimi Dredd - here to chant conscious lyrics over hard hitting joyous riddims - Nuimi Dredd Naata.
