Limited first edition pressing wiith Japanese OBI-Strip. Compiling three studio EPs and a live recording, this LP is the culmination of Hovlakin’s short but eventful career. Originally formed in 1979 by Taro Morishita (vo.) and Hosho Aoki (Dr.) in Saga prefecture, what started out as a fun project between Mahjong buddies quickly grew to become one of the most respected bands in the Japanese no-wave scene. With a quirky sense of humour and unique imagery Hovlakin manages to still sound fresh, nearly 40 years after their last release.
