Half-Light

The purest voice and talent we have heard in years. Honestly it's magical.

You may not know the name Alex Burey, but his musical fingerprints can be found across some of the UK's most compelling artists of recent years. Hailing from Croydon, Burey has written for artists including Matt Maltese and Puma Blue, produced for Matt Maltese, Loyle Carner and Sasha Keable, and even played guitar on a track by Lily Allen.

Drawing inspiration from artists ranging from Rotary Connection to Devendra Banhart, Burey makes his first steps into the spotlight with the Half-Light EP, a record that presents a songwriter and producer ready to emerge in his own right.  Featuring the recent singles "Unspoken" and "Chocolate", the EP also includes two untitled demos that offer a glimpse into what lies ahead.
