Happy Collapse

Happy Collapse is the first album release from the collaboration between Ian Masters (Pale Saints) and composer Stefano Guzzetti. Originally release as a 100 only expensive Vinyl Edition in Japan, where Ian lives. And now available on CD from Glass Modern. 4AD and Pale Saints fans will lap this up. Ian: "Stefano and I have been friends for a LONG time. The first time I heard the demo of "Starfish" which was to appear on his Waves on Canvas album from 2012, my body knew that I wanted to work with him. I didn't have to make the decision. When I heard his arrangement of my song I'll Never Dream Again, I knew we had to make an album together. We had a few false starts but commenced recording around February 2019 and completed it in January 2025. We didn't hurry. We worked on it in between other projects and when we felt like it. We didn't work on it when we didn't want to. We let it gestate naturally.
