Have A Heart

Part of the Dutch indie wave alongside Personal Trainer, Real Farmer, Lewsberg and Pip Blom, The Klittens bring together Yaël Dekker on vocals, Winnie Conradi and Katja Kahana on guitar, Marrit Meinema on bass, and Laurie Zantinge on drums.

It follows the band’s EPs Citrus from 2022 and Butter from 2024. Dekker is also a member of The Hobknobs alongside Lewsberg’s Arie van Vliet, adding another thread to this tightly knit and ever-fascinating Dutch scene.

Blending a love of pop with darker feelings and a punk ethos, The Klittens pull from artists as varied as The Ronettes, MF Doom, Dry Cleaning and Kate Bush. The result is a debut that feels playful, sharp and pleasingly twisted in a way that’s fully their own.
