Vol. 2 shares a double dose of previously unreleased live JGB splendor, pressed on Lavender coloured Eco-Mix vinyl. One side showcases exquisite versions of “Russian Lullaby” and “Who Was John?,” captured during Grateful Dead bandmates Keith and Donna Jean Godchaux’s debut on January 26th, 1976 at Keystone Berkeley.
The other side highlights transcendent covers of Van Morrison’s “And It Stoned Me” and Daniel Lanois’s “The Maker,” recorded on August 8th, 1993, at Oregon’s Portland Meadows.
