Horse Jumper of Love (10 Year Anniversary Edition)

Ten years on, Horse Jumper of Love’s self-titled debut still feels beautifully heavy and quietly formative. First recorded in a mill space studio with future longtime collaborator Bradford Krieger, it arrived in 2016 before its Run For Cover reissue in 2017, introducing the band’s stark minimalism and haunted lyricism.

Horse Jumper of Love holds onto that gritty melancholy through songs like Orange Peeler and Ugly Brunette, balancing youthful existentialism with something enduring. This 10 Year Anniversary Deluxe Edition LP celebrates that legacy with a tri-fold sleeve, collaged ephemera from Dimitri Giannopoulos’ Boston years, and a 20-page sewn-in booklet.

It also includes handwritten tablature for the original nine songs. Disc one features the fully remastered album, while disc two gathers 13 bonus tracks recorded between 2013 and 2015, mostly by Dimitri Giannopoulos at home on a Tascam Portastudio, including Heathers (2013), an early version of i love you very much forever. It is also released on CD for the first time as a 2-disc swing tray jewel case with a fold-out poster.
