Reissue on vinyl of the legendary British producer's lost but classic album. originally released in 1960 as essentially a novelty record to demonstrate stereo possibilities with sound, meek recorded this as his kind of tribute to space travel and his general obsession with all things unearthly. to get the outer space sounds of the moon and beyond that Joe desired, he used a mixture of Hawaiian guitar, bass, drums, a deliberately out of tune piano. he used combs, running water, treated electronics and a wide variety of other percussive and pioneering mixing effects. this album is truly unlike anything else you've ever heard.
