Kohlrabenschwarz: Where pain meets poetry and darkness finds its voice. Step into the abyss with Kohlrabenschwarz, the brainchild of former Lunar Aurora member, Constantin König.

Following his time with the experimental rock band Bald Anders, a transition towards straight black metal ensued for him. In 2019, these ideas found their form, evolving into haunting melodies and searing lyrics. After some first pre-recordings in 2022, König sought out fellow musicians, birthing the debut album, Im finstren Tal, recorded between April and June 2023 at Studio Five Lakes by Thomas Taube.

But Kohlrabenschwarz is more than music - it's a journey into the recesses of the mind. With raw honesty, König confronts the pain, devastation, and fear that lurk within us all. Im finstren Tal serves as a visceral portrayal of mental anguish, urging listeners to confront their demons head-on.
