Meg Lui is a Northern California-born singer-songwriter based in the Hudson Valley since 2015. Her songs pair vivid lyrics with poignant melodies, carried by a voice that feels intimate and enduring, tracing love, resilience, and the everyday weight of being human.

Born in California, educated at Berklee College of Music in Boston, musically shaped in Brooklyn, and now rooted in the Catskills, she has released music as M. Lui, Grover, and with the trio Ember Isles.

Her influences include Freddie Mercury, The Cranberries, No Doubt, Sheryl Crow, and Bonnie Raitt. Recent vocal work includes Sufjan Stevens' Javelin, Sam Evian's Plunge, Denison Witmer's Anything At All, John Legend's My Favorite Dream, Keenan O'Meara's forthcoming Bathe In The Everlasting Light, and Liam Kazar's Pilot Light.
