James Taylor

James Taylor is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter James Taylor, released in 1968 in the UK and in 1969 in the US. In South Africa, it was released under the title First Album. Critical reaction was generally good, including a very positive review in Rolling Stone Magazine that stated, "this album is the coolest breath of fresh air we are inhaling in a good long while”. The album was the first recording by a non-British artist released by Apple Records, the famous Beatles' record label.
