Jazz in Paris

George Brown is best known as a founding member and one of the main songwriters of Kool & the Gang, credited with co-writing songs like "Too Hot," "Hollywood Swinging," and "Celebration," among many others. GB was one of those musical minds that defies genre and creates for the pure love of music. This album, "Jazz in Paris," takes us on a musical journey back to the smoky jazz clubs of Paris and New York in the late 1950s and early ’60s, a sound GB grew up on and which shaped his musical world from early on. This project was very close to his heart and a way to pay homage to the greats of the era.
