Far Out Recordings presents Ladeiras De Santa Teresa, the debut collaboration between Rio jazz innovator Antonio Neves and percussion master Thiaguinho Silva. A rare Brazilian jazz album led by two drummers, it’s driven by deep samba grooves, bold brass and inventive arrangements.
Neves is known for his work with Ana Frango Elétrico, Bruno Berle and Bala Desejo, while Thiaguinho has collaborated with Gal Costa, Liniker and Marcelo D2. Featuring standout tracks like “Das Neves” and “Fendas Vocais,” plus guest vocals from Joca.
Named after Rio’s bohemian Santa Teresa neighbourhood, the album captures the city’s vibrant jazz-samba spirit.
