After Maggie Antone quietly announced herself to the world back in 2021 with a video of her covering Tyler Childers’ 'Lady May’ from a college dorm room floor wearing sweats and a red hoodie, she went on to become one of country music brightest and boldest breakthrough stars, releasing her full length debut to widespread critical acclaim in 2024 and ending the year in more than her fair share of end of the year lists, including a spot in Rough Trade Shops Top 100 Albums of the Year and Top 10 in Holler's Albums of the Year.

Originally appearing on her digital only Interpretations album in 2022, along with covers of Beyoncé, John Prine, Dolly Parton and David Gray, the 'Lady May' 7" single features her breakout viral track with an alternate, never-before-released version of the track on side B.
