Artifacts and Uranium's Lagoons is the latest collaboration between Mike Vest
(Blown Out, Bong, Drunk In Hell, Modoki etc) and Fred Laird (Earthling Society, Taras
Bulba, Empty House) and the 5th installment of sonic experimentation since their self
titled debut in 2021.
The project sees Vest and Laird working again as a duo. The ambient acoustic
elements of Laird's Empty House and the electrical static of Vest's guitar explorations
form a sonic, psychedelic Yin Yang, pulling and pushing yet forever merging amongst
the kosmische currents.
Spiritual and chaotic, formless and expanding, an album that is undefinable and ever
changing.
