Le Mariage Collectif

Repress of Jean-Pierre Mirouze’s cult soundtrack to 1971 film Le Mariage Collectif, first released in 2014 by Born Bad Records. This killer soundtrack includes the monster jazz-funk of Sexopolis, plus 8 other tracks that include jazz, soul and psychedelic influences. With the exception of two songs that already came out on a 45, the material on this disk was destined to remain in the trash. In 1971, a very few copies were made on acetate in an attempt to attract the interest of record labels. The songs on this album come from one of these acetates, found, in 2010, in a Paris garbage dump.
