Le Palais De Danse

The last solo album from Steve Strange (Visage) is finally released: a comprehensive 2CD set including selected extended, dance and single mixes. It comes with album notes from programmer and producer Steve Barnacle, plus full lyrics in a 20-page booklet with artwork and photographs.

A pop culture icon and founding father of the early 80s New Romantic movement, Steve Strange helped launch Billy’s, the Blitz Club and Club for Heroes, while becoming the lead vocalist of Visage.

Shortly before his death in 2015, he was working with Steve Barnacle on songs for planned solo album Le Palais De Danse. Four appeared in alternative versions on later Visage records: Seven Deadly Sins, Breathe Life, Welcome To The Digital Age and Never Stop Dreaming. Highlights include Insinuate, duet Dirty and Flirty with Samantha Fox, the title track and Boys.
